While the importance of strong physician leadership has recently been spotlighted, its impact has been studied for over a decade with evidence demonstrating physician leadership can help lead to better clinical and financial outcomes. The research and experience demonstrates physician leadership development is contingent upon engagement and physician/hospital alignment.
This webinar will reveal the key leadership competencies of highly effective physicians and a roadmap for engaging all physicians as leaders – from the C-suite to the clinical front line. The webinar will discuss the ROI for physician leadership development and make the case that it is a key ingredient for integrated and coordinated care delivery. We will share efforts of leading health care organizations to engage physicians and develop their leadership skills. The session will offer tactical approaches to developing physician leadership in a sustainable fashion throughout the organization using a combination of individual assessment and coaching, face-to-face learning, action learning projects, and web-based physician development solutions.
